Impact is a leading partnership management platform that helps businesses manage and grow their affiliate, influencer, and business development partnerships. Integrating Impact with Lifesight enables you to measure the full value and Return on Investment (ROI) of your entire partnership channel.

Use Case: Analyzing the Partnership Channel's Contribution

This integration pulls key performance data from the Impact Partnership Cloud, including conversions, revenue, and partner payouts, directly into Lifesight's measurement models.

By incorporating this rich dataset, you can accurately quantify the total impact of your partnership program. This allows you to compare its performance directly against all other marketing channels in your mix, such as paid search, social, and programmatic, to make smarter investment decisions.

Prerequisites: Gathering Your Impact Credentials

Before connecting, you will need to retrieve two pieces of information from your Impact account. These credentials ensure a secure, read only connection.

1. Account SID: The Account Security Identifier (SID) is a unique key that identifies your account.

   • Log in to your Impact account.
   • Click the three dots in the bottom left corner and navigate to Settings.
   • Under the Technical section, click on API.
   • Your Account SID will be displayed on this page. Copy it for the next step.

2. Auth Token: This token serves as the secure password for the API connection.

   • While in the Settings > Technical section, find and click on API Tokens.
   • You may need to create a "Technical User" if you do not have one already.
   • For your designated Technical User, click the Create new token button.
   • A new Auth Token will be generated. Copy this token immediately and store it in a secure location.

Steps to Integrate in Lifesight

With your credentials prepared, you can now complete the connection within the Lifesight platform.

1. Navigate to the Connect > Integrations tab in the Lifesight left side menu bar.
2. In the search field, type "Impact" to locate the integration tile under the Affiliate & partnership category.
3. Click on the tile. A connection modal will appear.
4. In the Account SID field, paste the Account SID you retrieved from your Impact settings.
5. In the Auth Token field, paste the Auth Token you generated.
6. Click Connect.
