Roku is a leading Connected TV (CTV) and streaming platform that offers a robust advertising ecosystem. Through its "OneView" ad platform and direct publisher inventory, Roku allows brands to reach cord-cutters with precision. By integrating Roku with Lifesight, you can capture granular campaign performance data and measure the true incremental impact of your CTV spend alongside your other marketing channels.

Connect your Roku Account

Connect your Roku advertising account to the Lifesight Platform to unlock powerful insights into your CTV campaign performance. This integration ingests your Roku campaign data, allowing you to analyze performance metrics and measure your true marketing impact through our unified measurement framework.

Setup Guide

Prerequisite: You must have administrative permissions or "Standard" access in your Roku Advertising/OneView account to authorize third-party application access.

Follow these steps to connect your Roku account to Lifesight:

  1. Navigate to Integrations From the main navigation menu on the left, click on the Integrations icon.
  2. Locate Roku On the Integrations page, use the search bar to find "Roku". It will appear under the "Advertising" or "CTV" category.
  3. Initiate Connection Click on the Roku integration card. A pop-up modal will appear. Click the Connect button to begin the authorization process.
  4. Authorize Lifesight in Roku You will be redirected to the Roku/OneView login page. Enter your credentials to log in and grant Lifesight permission to access your reporting and campaign data.
  5. Select Your Ad Account After authorizing, you will be returned to the Lifesight platform. Select the specific Roku Ad Account or Organization you wish to connect from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm and Finish Click Connect to finalize the setup. The Roku integration will now show as "Active" on your Integrations page.

Data Synchronization

Once the connection is active, Lifesight will automatically begin fetching historical data (typically up to the last 2 years, depending on your model) and will continue to sync daily.

Metrics Ingested:

  • Spend: Total advertising cost.
  • Impressions: Total views of your CTV ads.
  • Clicks: Interaction counts (where applicable in the Roku ecosystem).
  • Reach & Frequency: Data regarding how many unique households were reached.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection Error: If you encounter an error during the connection process, verify that you are logged into the correct Roku/OneView account and that your account has the necessary permissions to authorize API access.
  • Data Mismatch: If the data in Lifesight does not match your Roku dashboard, please allow up to 24 hours for the initial sync to complete. If the issue persists, ensure that the correct Ad Account ID was selected during setup.
  • Incorrect Account Connected: If you have connected the wrong Roku ad account, simply disconnect the integration from the Integrations page and repeat the setup process, ensuring you select the correct account in Step 5.
